| Okay quick note, please avoid using the Die roller that is underneath the reply window, use the one that appears on the tool bar as a six-sided die, this will cut down on extra posts. Great Jordy, moving to J-3 will provoke an opportunity attack from kolbold #1, who is pleased to finally be able to do something. Let's talk about this: Opportunity AttackCombatants constantly watch for their enemies to drop their guard. When you’re adjacent to an enemy, that enemy can’t move past you or use a ranged power or an area power without putting itself in danger by allowing you to take an opportunity attack against it. The most common form of opportunity action is an opportunity attack—a melee basic attack against the creature that provokes it. OPPORTUNITY ATTACK: OPPORTUNITY ACTION✦ Melee Basic Attack: An opportunity attack is a melee basic attack (page 287). ✦ Moving Provokes: If an enemy leaves a square adjacent to you, you can make an opportunity attack against that enemy. However, you can’t make one if the enemy shifts or teleports or is forced to move away by a pull, a push, or a slide. ✦ Ranged and Area Powers Provoke: If an enemy adjacent to you uses a ranged power or an area power, you can make an opportunity attack against that enemy. ✦ One per Combatant’s Turn: You can take only one opportunity action during another combatant’s turn, but you can take any number during a round. ✦ Able to Attack: You can’t make an opportunity attack unless you are able to make a melee basic attack and you can see your enemy. ✦ Interrupts Target’s Action: An opportunity action takes place before the target finishes its action. After the opportunity attack, the creature resumes its action. If the target is reduced to 0 hit points or fewer by the opportunity attack, it can’t finish its action because it’s dead or dying. ✦ Threatening Reach: Some creatures have an ability called threatening reach. This lets them make opportunity attacks against nonadjacent enemies. If an enemy leaves a square that’s within the creature’s reach, or if an enemy anywhere within the creature’s reach makes a ranged attack or an area attack, the creature can make an opportunity attack against that enemy. -One thing to add to the above is that shifting (moving 1 square) away from a hostile target does NOT provoke an opportunity attack.

+5 vs. AC, and does nothing because he sucks
Kathra the dwarf moves into the fray in front of the halfling paladin and takes a powerful cleave at kobold #1 and knocking a glancing blow on kobold #4. Dealing 8 points of damage to #3 (that's 3 from the roll, and +5 for str and the Dwarven Weapon training feat) and 3 points to #4. #1 drops in a pile of scales, #4 seems quite a bit more resilient.

| Looks like the DM scored a natural 20! Woohoo! That means something when you actually have a damage die. If the kobold did have a damage die, he would do maxium damage on that die roll plus his appropriate modifier. Here is the map: MF is UP! | |

You are correct, the 5-foot step is the movement for the character that round. Unless you have a special ability that lets you move more than once a round, his movement is done. | |

| Nicely done! You read your power correctly B! You used you daily, which is definitely a powerful ability. Remember that you can use "At-Will" as much as you want, "Encounter" per encounter and "Daily", well, daily. Your "At-Will" powers will always be better than a standard attack, and they can become your signature move, if you will. Back to the Board...
Riardon teleports next to the Warlock, marking one of the kobolds as his quarry. Launching an incredibly powerful attack against the creatures the arrows do a devasting 24 points of damage, obliterating the scaled foes. Wow. Sam is next to clean up! | |

| The cleric smacks the kobold and passes protective power to Jordan and himself. The kobold is now BLOODIED. This means that the creature has at least half of its hit points. He isn't looking too hot.

| Note that you are held immobile until the end of the turn MF, oh yes and i forgot to mention that the kobold used his Shifty ability, hence the red line.

| Well you would usually wait until the end of your turn to save, 10 or better they are lifted. Unless otherwise stated there are no saving throw modifiers. Can you do any ranged attacks? You just cant move, thats all. | |
